Hong Kong
HKTDC Hong Kong Watch and Clock Fair
The Hong Kong Watch and Clock Fair will take place on September 1-5, 2020 in Hong Kong.
In most cases, you can attend the fair without a visa as Hong Kong offers visa-free entry to the nationals of 170 countries for short-term visits.
Organizers of this fair include Hong Kong Trade Development and Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd.
The fair is one of the most acknowledged Watch and Clock Fairs in Asia. More than 800 exhibitors are expected to exhibit their products at the show this year. Around 20,000 buyers are also likely to visit the fair.

The admission to the exhibition is free but only 18 years or older are allowed to attend the fair.

Global Sources Fashion Fair
The Global Sources Fashion Fair will take place on October 27-30, 2020 in Hong Kong. It is also considered among the major fashion shows in Hong Kong, organized twice a year.
Around 1000 exhibitors are expected to join this fair that consists of more than 1,800 booths for different fashion products and categories including jewelry and watches.
You can find manufacturers of watches and jewelry from Hong Kong (notice that most HK suppliers are traders with factories in Mainland China), China, Korea, Vietnam and other Asian countries at this fair.
The exhibition also attracts a large number of online and Amazon sellers by providing them with dedicated services. To cater to their needs, fair management lists hundreds of sellers who accept small orders.
You can find around 50 exhibitors in jewelry pavilion and around 30 exhibitors under a fashion accessories category which includes watches.
If you are traveling from North America, Europe, Singapore, Japan, Australia, and South America, you don’t need a visa to attend this fair.

HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show
The Hong Kong International Jewellery Show will take place on May 18-21, 2020 in Hong Kong.
The admission fee to attend this fair is HK$100 while entry is only for 18 years old or older.
The fair is organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council in partnership with Hong Kong Jewellers’ & Goldsmiths’ Association and Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers Association.
In terms of expected attendance, it is among the largest jewelry and watches trades shows in the world. In 2019, the fair was visited by 54,000 visitors from all around the world while more than two and a half thousand exhibitors showcased their products.
You can find jewelry and watch manufacturers from China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and other parts of the world, but most are from Asia.

China (Mainland)
Canton Fair Phase 2
Canton Fair, commonly known as China Import and Export Fair, is a regular event that takes place twice a year since 1957. It is organized into three phases to exhibit different industries.
The second phase, which includes a lot of products and industries including watches and clocks, is scheduled to take place on April 22-27, 2020 (spring edition) and on October 23-27, 2020 (autumn edition).
Based on the number of yearly attendees, it is one of the largest trade exhibitions in Asia. More than 7,000 exhibitors from many Asian countries are expected to join the event along with more than 185,000 visitors.
The exhibition will take place in China Import and Export Complex, which is located on Pazhou Island, Guangzhou, China. The complex is also known as the largest modernized exhibition center in Asia.
You may need a visa to visit China to attend this fair. China allows visa-free entry to citizens of 13 countries, which include Singapore and Japan. However, most attendees must secure visas in advance.

China Watch & Clock Fair
The CWCF China Watch & Clock Fair will take place in Shenzhen on June, 20-22, 2020.
More than 600 exhibitors are expected to attend the fair this year. You can find exhibitors here from all around the world, but most are Chinese and Hong Kong-based brands and manufacturers.
Almost 60,000 buyers visit this exhibition every year.
The products on display include watches, wristwatches, clocks, smartwatches, LCD watches, electronic calendar, tools and machinery, pocket watches, and similar products.

China International Gold, Jewellery & Gem Fair Shenzhen
China International Gold, Jewelry & Gem Fair takes place in Shenzhen in April annually.
You can find a wide range of jewelry products which include diamonds, gemstones, pearls, and other jewelry-related merchandise.
The event is expected to host more than 330 exhibitors from 13 countries.
The admission is free for all visitors, but only 18 years old and above are allowed. The fair takes place once every year for the last 16 years.
It is not among the largest jewelry exhibitions in China, but it is still one of the major ones that attract thousands of buyers and hundreds of exhibitors every year.

Shanghai World Jewelry Expo
Shanghai World Jewelry Expo takes place once on October 10-13 in Shanghai.
The admission is free, but you must be 18 years old or older.
The expo is organized by the Gems & Jewelry Trade Association of China, China Gold Association, and Shanghai Gold & Jewelry Trade Association.
You can find a wide range and variety of jewelry and gems. The expo exhibits products under five major categories that include gemstones, pearls, finished jewelry, watches & clocks, manufacturing equipment & accessories.
In terms of attendance and participation of exhibitors, the expo is not as large as some others on our list.

Taiwan (Republic of China)
Taiwan Jewellery & Gem Fair
The annual Taiwan Jewelry & Gem Fair will take place on November 20-23, 2020.
The fair is organized by UBM Asia Ltd. every year since 2013. It is a relatively new fair that attracts around 10,000 visitors and approximately 200 exhibitors, which makes it the most significant international jewelry trade show in Taiwan.
Last year, exhibitors from 13 countries took part in the fair, but most of the exhibitors are from local Taiwan’s jewelry industry.
If you are traveling from North America, European Union, Canada, Japan, Singapore, or South Korea, you don’t need a visa for a short-term visit to Taiwan.

You can find five major pavilions in the exhibition that include the diamond section, coral pavilion, designer area, country pavilions, and packaging & tool section.

Vietnam
Vietnam International Jewelry Exhibition Fair
Vietnam International Jewelry Fair is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City jewelry company, which is a state-owned corporation. The next edition of this fair will take place on November 14-18, 2020, in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
Compared to other expos and exhibitions in China and Hong Kong, the Vietnam International Jewelry Fair is relatively smaller but still attracts more than 25 thousand visitors to its annual fair. Around 140 exhibitors also take part in the exhibition every year.
You can find a wide range of jewelry products at the exhibition that includes gold, platinum, gemstones, designer jewelry, diamonds, pearls, jewelry services, and more.
If you are a citizen of the European Union, UK, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, or Singapore, you can visit the fair without a visa for Vietnam.

Thailand
Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair
The Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair takes place in February annually in the Thai capital.
It is the largest and the oldest Gems & Jewelry fairs in Thailand. Around a thousand brands and companies take part in the fair every year.
You can find an array of products under different categories at the event which include gemstones, diamonds, pearls, rough stones, jewelry parts, machinery, gold, synthetic stones, and more.
Thailand offers visa-free entry to the citizens of 57 countries, mostly from Europe, South East Asia, and North America, so the chances are, you can travel to Thailand without a visa to attend the fair.

Cambodia
Cambodia International Gems & Jewelry Fair
Cambodia International Gems & Jewelry Fair 2020 will take place on August 21-24 in Phnom Penh.
The fair is the largest exhibition of Cambodian gems and jewelry to buyers from all around the world. You can find a wide range of diamonds, gemstones, timepieces, fine jewelry designs, gold jewelry, accessories, bejeweled & brand watches, and more.
The admissions are free and open for everyone above 15 years of age.
You can obtain an on-arrival visa to attend the fair as Cambodia issues an on-arrival business visa to all nationals for a fee of USD 35. In addition, Cambodia allows visa-free entry to citizens of nine countries which include Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and a few more countries.
The event takes place once a year and attracts thousands of visitors and hundreds of exhibitors.

International Jewelry Manila
The annual International Jewelry Manila exhibition will take place in June in Manila.
You can find a wide range of products here are different categories which include diamonds, gemstones, wedding jewelry, brand name watches, bejeweled watches, semi-finished jewelry, and more.
