HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week
The next edition of Asia’s leading fashion event, Hong Kong Fashion Week will take place in Hong Kong in July 25-28, 2020.
As Hong Kong offers visa-free entry for short-term visits to the nationals of 170 countries, you can most likely visit the Hong Kong Fashion Week without a visa (based on your nationality).

The fair is rated as the leading fashion event in Asia that attracted almost 15,000 buyers from more than 70 countries this year. The last event also attracted more than fifteen hundred exhibitors from 21 countries.

HKTDC Hong Kong International Home Textile and Furnishings Fair
Visa is not required in Hong Kong for most of the countries, so you can join the event without worrying about the visa process.
The event will display and highlight the latest trends in the home textile and furnishings industry which include:

The admission is for trade only, and you’ve to pay $15 admission fees as well.
You can find some of the top textile and furnishing brands, mostly from Hong Kong and China.
It is also one of the major events organized by HKTDC, that organizes over 30 different events each year. In 2019, the event attracted more than 310 international textile suppliers and 18,000 buyers from all over the world.
HKTDC arranges this event at the same time it arranges the largest Houseware Event in Asia, providing you an opportunity to visit both events at the same time.

Global Sources Fashion Fair
The Global Sources Fashion Fair is also considered among the largest fashion shows in Asia. The fair features 1,800 booths for different companies where you can find fabrics, apparel, and accessories on display from Asia’s top fashion and apparel brands and manufacturers.
The next event will take place in Hong Kong on October 27–30, 2020.
The exhibitors at the event accept small orders which make this event a good option for you if you’re Amazon or online seller. The event management also offers dedicated services to online and Amazon sellers.

Venue: AsiaWorld-Expo, situated right next to the Hong Kong International Airport.
The fair takes place twice per year, in three phases, and phase 3 consists of textiles, garments, and apparel exhibitors. This year, it will be held on May 1-5, 2020 (spring edition) and October 31 – November 4, 2020 (autumn edition).
The products you can find at this fair are fabrics, home textiles, bed linens, kitchen and bathroom textiles, handmade carpets, shoes, handbags, and other apparel accessories.
The exhibition will take place in China Import and Export Complex, which is also known as the largest modernized exhibition center in Asia. The center is located on Pazhou Island, Guangzhou, China.
Unlike Hong Kong, you need a visa for China to attend Canton Fair Phase 3. Hong Kong offers visa-free entry to citizens of 170 countries, but the number of such countries is only 13 for China.
You can check the list of 13 countries here that are allowed visa-free entry for a limited time. If you’re from Japan or Singapore, you can visit China for 15 days without a visa but if you’re from elsewhere, including Europe or North America, you need a visa.
The exhibition also takes place twice a year and over 100,000 buyers attend this fair every year, while over 20,000 businesses exhibit their products.

Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics
The international Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Spring edition takes place in April annually in Shanghai. For the autumn section this year, the show will take place on September 23-25, 2020.
You can find some of the top manufacturers of apparel fabrics and accessories in this exhibition.
Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics is also considered among the largest textile exhibitions in Asia, with more than 3,300 exhibitors from 26 countries expected to join the event this year.
The fair also attracted more than 94,000 buyers from all over the world in 2019.
Just like other exhibitions on our list, you can find a huge variety of apparel, women’s wear, men’s wear, handbags, fabrics, lingerie, embroidery, etc.
The event takes place twice a year, for Spring and Autumn edition.
Venue: National Exhibition And Convention Center, Shanghai, China.
The event is organized by the Taiwan Textile Federation in partnership with the Taiwan External Trade Development Council.
The products you can find here are fabrics, fibers, filaments & yarns, OEM/ODM apparel, trimmings, and other apparel accessories.
Taiwan allows visa-free entry to the citizens of almost 60 countries which include the European Union, Australia, Canada, the United States, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan.

If you’re visiting from North America or Europe, you’ll not have any issue traveling to Taiwan without a visa if you intend to stay for less than 90 days.
The show is not as large as some other textile expos in Hong Kong and China, but you can find a large number of domestic suppliers from Taiwan here. Almost 400 exhibitors joined the show in 2019 which was visited by more than 30,000 people from around the world.
